I remember that as well.

Edwin Simmons..... I remember how he tore through a tough ousux defense. I thought he was the next Eric Dickerson. Then he got injured and never really made it back. What a shame.

Fire Banks now. Fake punt for a 1st down. Undisciplined kickoff team hits a guy 3 feet out of bounds for a 15 yard penalty. And yet another successful onside kick. I could do better than Banks and I don't know jack shit about coaching special teams. He has to go, at least by the end of the season.

I guess they forgot after all.

Great first half for Arch and the Horns. Except for fucking special teams. That fake punt shit can't be allowed. Fire Jeff Banks at halftime!

I can't see us winning out, which means the season is just played for pride. So I think we play Lacey every week to get him ready for next year, regardless of Arch's performance.

Michigan (upset special) LSU Oregon Tennessee Alabama (the only thing good about this season is aggy tears) Mississippi State USC Utah Virginia Tech at Clemson Texas Tech TIE BREAKER – Ole Miss 21 Texas 24 - offense struggles again, but defense bails them out. (Even though we are...

After cooling off, here's my 2 cents:CDC needs to give Sark an ultimatum. Hire a new OL coach and OC. Change other coaches as you see fit. If not, Texas will change head coaches. I think it's time.

The number 1 question on my mind is what's Sark's buyout?

Let's see if our offense can do anything. I am not confident.

He's better than Arch.

That's hard to believe. Elko is probably the best coach aggy has had since RC Slocum. Firing him after one bad stretch is incredibly stupid. But it is aggy that we are talking about. So it is likely true.

I watched Texas beat Tennessee in the 1969 Cotton Bowl. I became a Longhorn fan that day.
