I agree society can benefit from it.  And sadly, not all family units have the moral guidance and when kids get to college they want to get away from parental guidance and make choices in the heat of the moment. I remember being so excited being on my own and probably could have made better...

I think that with college football football teams, the players are still students and with college comes a lot of freedom for these young kids/adults. The freedom is many times confused with I can do anything I want because I am out from under my parents wings. Coach strong is really a teacher...
