Canady off to a good start to the year with 3 shut out wins.

The problem for her being at Tech is she also has 2 losses, both going to extra innings and both where she only gave up 2 runs. That team doesn't have the offense to provide enough run support for her.

Yes. She was player of the year by some outlets last year (our own Reese Atwood was named by others). Incredibly talented pitcher.

Maybe tougher competition. The Louisville pitcher last night (Patrick Forbes) is a projected 1st round draft pick that hits 99 mph on his fastball, has an 83 mph slider, and an 88 mph change up. Last year he didn’t pitch much because he was hurt but pitched well in the postseason. A great Friday starter.
Hopefully we don’t go against Friday starters today or tomorrow.
