SEC baseball--- 2 top 5 teams in Austin Georgia vs. Texas

This is where we start to find out about our baseball team. Belyeu is out until at least post season play at the minimum.

It's sad that neither ESPN nor SEC would put these games on their regular network, but only on SEC+ network.
At least one can listen to the streaming radio of UT baseball via Texassports.com, and most likely @joeywa on X.

Georgia has 10 batters hitting over 300 with 4 hitting over 400. Texas has 5 hitters over 300. Let that sink in.

Our pitchers MUST be able to throw strikes and get lots of strikeouts and groundouts.

Georgia starters are good, but they have 4 or so coming out of the bullpen that throw strikes at 97+ fastballs with sliders, breakers that are closer to 87 as out pitches. Did watch some of their game last Saturday against Auburn. They don't mind going to extra innings to get a win. They can win multiple ways. Think LSU with a better bullpen.

Texas is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the 1975 CWS NC team, so may not hear Keith Moreland on the radio much if at all this weekend.
