Texas chased the starter. The 1st pitcher out of Miss. St. has allowed the 2 runners from the starter to score to tied the game. Borba has hit a 3 run homerun and now leads 8-5. Only 1 out for Texas in the top of the 7th.

Final numbers on Spencer -- 5 2/3 innings 95 pitches, 7 strikeouts, 8 hits, 5 runs (all earned), 1 walk. No decision.

UPDATE

No baseball on Saturday due to the T-storms that have occurred overnight and going on most of Saturday.

There will be a doubleheader on Sunday--- 1st game starts at 1PM and will be on SEC network. The 2nd game will start roughly 45 minutes after the end of the 1st game and will be on SEC+. Both games will be 7 inning games.

Spencer has had 1 bad inning this year, giving up 4 runs in the 2nd. Nice to see him bounce back after that to put up 0s until the 6th inning.

Another good outing by Dre until the 9th. Seems we have a few relievers that the staff really tries to stretch. More than 3 innings for a reliever is usually asking a lot.
