Yes, I understand your point. But 2 things led to that. 1) Cam Williams wiffed horribly on the block that allowed their defensive end to get to Ewers within.....3 seconds(???) 2) RUN THE BALL. 1 freaking yard. The play calling.
Part of the issue is we were not very good at running the ball up the middle last year.

In space, we were quite effective because we could stretch the field, run outside zone, etc. In the redzone we struggled because we couldn't just bully our way into the endzone.

I think our IOL will be better at getting a push and Arch will help in the redzone run game by being a threat himself. He will occupy a defender on any read action and he can be more effective than Quinn on roll outs because he is a very real threat to tuck the ball and run it in.
 
Per PFF Texas has the

in the country.
and probably have to give an incomplete to the OL with so many new players. If they finish as a top 10 unit by the end of the season things have gone very well for us.

Big takeaway is, we are very talented across the board.
