Stearns & Foster lol

Baxter, if he plays, will be late in the season. You don't just walk back in and pick up where you left off so I wouldn't expect a meaningful contribution from him this season.
I would guess Baxter played his Freshman year, will get a medical redshirt for last year and if he isn't cleared this year could redshirt and be a RS sophomore starting next year.

Because of the injury, if Baxter's next playing season is a good one, he's gone to the NFL. He'll want to minimize his risk.

I agree.

Paul Finebaum is trying to set up Texas in a no-win situation. He recently said Texas is absolutely favorite to win the 2025-26 national championship. In other words, if Texas wins, they should have. If Texas doesn't win, there is something wrong. Jealousy is not an attractive feature. As soon as I read his remark, I changed Doc Holliday's remark to Johnny Ringo to,"Why, Paul Finebaum, you look like somebody just walked over your grave."

Whatever happened to Sterns and Foster?
Caden Sterns, looks like his NFL career got derailed with injuries. A couple of good seasons but then a lot of time on injured reserved/practice teams.

BJ Foster flamed out at SHSU. Never made the pros. He had a lot of promise.

His dislike for Texas is obvious, he doesn't even try and hide it. If he is trying to hide it, he sucks at it!

But PJ Locke has had a really good pro career. Starting safety for the Broncos now. Signed a 2 year contract with Denver before last year and played well.

We have had a lot of success in the NFL with DBs recently.

We should have been so much better at pass defense (3,4, 5 years back) with the talent we had.

Not sure. He mostly needs to keep talking to try to stay relevant. The fact that you guys are talking about him indicates he is staying relevant. Mostly what he says just seems like noise to be ignored.

He is not relevant to me. I think he is and always been a hack and a joke. Old school SEC, ESPN and Kirk Bohls think he is relevant. The only time I've ever watched or listen to his show is when Auburn beat Alabama on the Kick Six just to listen to Alabama fans cry. He is in the same league as Liucci. Liucci and aggy get mentioned on this board. That doesn't mean they are relevant or credible. That goes for pencil neck Finebaum.

Seems like claiming and talking about him setting Texas up goes beyond how we mostly ignore Liucci, except to laugh at him.
