“Mastered everything” doesn’t seem bad

I obviously could have picked a different story

The point I was making was that after he "guaranteed" he would beet Worthy's 4.21 combine record, he wasn't able to break 4.4. It seems to me that to claim you are going to break a record is a high risk, low reward proposition. If you can back it up, then you haven't gained much, but if you fail you look stupid.

I just saw where Gunnar Helm injured his ankle on his first 40 attempt yesterday.

??? Bond ran a 4.39. Top 5 in WR's
Guess they are just assuming since he was shooting for the record he made himself look like a jackass… I don’t see it that way and zero chance that a 4.39 hurts his draft stock lol

OTF had a good story today where exiting Texas players headed to the NFL were asked what Longhorns the fanbase should be excited about going into the 2025 season.

I loved the answers, many of them were predictable (Ryan Wingo mentioned A LOT). But when it came to the DL, Broughton and Collins were asked and their replies were the same – Alex January and Melvin Hills.

Players were not forced to talk about their position group. For example, Makuba, a safety, responded with Ryan Wingo. So singling out both January and Hills got me excited. I've heard in the back ground about their play in practices and in games. January was good enough that Texas felt comfortable putting him in the line up during the playoffs. And Hills has been dominant at times in practices.

Golden named Aaron Butler, which goes along with what I've heard about Butler. Kid is supposed to be a player. And he has wheels and smarts. I look forward to seeing him this year at WR.
