I am sorry you had to endure that and glad you were able to clear your name.

It does not excuse a response to sexual assault victims that immediately doubts their legitimacy.

In Tucker's case, it seems unlikely there is any hard evidence to prove or disprove these allegations though a consistent story from 6 therapists who do not know each other prior to this is disconcerting.

They maybe didn’t know each other then but they have the same lawyer now. I’m not trying to exonerate Tucker. I don’t know. He can’t be charged with a crime the statute has run. Lawyers aren’t always truthful (sometimes truth isn’t in their interest). Lawyers have been known to coach or guide a witness (leading questions and such). All the sudden their stories are similar. I’m not saying that’s what happened just that it could have.

It sounds like statute of limitations will keep this out of criminal proceedings but it could go to a civil case. If that's the case, we may get some factual information beyond the current he said she (6 of them) said.

Reading through that story is pretty convincing though. Similar stories from different therapist at different massage centers.

Plus it only needs a simple majority from the jury panel.

I am in no position to make a judgement either way. I would neither claim Tucker is guilty based on such limited information. I also wouldn't jump to the conclusion that these women are lying about their claims.

FYI. Texas RB Coach Tashard Choice has been contacted by Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys about a position there. Historically, the Cowboys pay that position $400K to $450K. Texas pays Choice more than $700K.

I would REALLY hate to lose Choice. Choice once played RB for the Cowboys and has a good relationship with Jerrah.

No matter how it gets "resolved" his endorsement value will be way less then it was before the story broke.

Since Any lawsuit would be a civil case, you have to wonder if the attorney tried to reach some kind of settlement to to keep the allegations private.

Hopefully not, but on the other hand Sark has done a really good job of identifying and attracting great replacement coaches when needed. Remember Choice replaced Drayton.

When you are a top program with young ambitious coaches, you have to expect some coaching churn.

It seems we're now safe with regard to losing Choice. Dallas would require him to take a pay cut. He doesn't want to do that.

Jerry is now talking with RaShad Samples, who once worked as an analyst for UT. Samples is the current RB coach for Oregon.Samples is a recruiting savant, but rather average on the coaching side. Those recruiting skills won't translate to the NFL so I'm not sure why Jerry is talking to him other than it being someone he wouldn't have to pay too much for.
