IMO, Goosby is a huge pick up. However, Sterling might end up being considered the gem of the class.

Texas wins 99-65.

Swain with 26 points, 5 rebs. He's not just a good scorer, he's also a great distributor of the ball.

Cam Heide had a coming out party, sinking 6 three point shots and scoring 20 points. Heide was putting on a clinic there for a few minutes.

Wilcher also had a great game, scored 12 points and 5 assists.

And Vokietaitis had 20 points on the night. He was tough down low.

Best game I've seen them play so far.

I’m glad this team has had a string of patsies to play to get used to playing together. Things should get tougher starting with Maui, and the team seams ready for it

Texas wins 93-58. Volka had 19 pts and played pretty well. Tramon Mark is the glue that holds this tteam together, IMO. Swain had moments but he's not getting it done, considering his potential.

Nick Cody continues to improve. He had a good game.

Texas is now 2-1.
Swaim didn't like this comment from you! Lol

National Signing Day is here for NCAA men's basketball. Texas and Sean Miller's staff signed a class that is ranked as high as 6th. There is one more recruit Texas is after who may take their decision to the Spring signing period, Deron Rippey Jr. (Blairstown, N.J./Blair Academy). He's a 6'2 PG and is ranked in the nation's top 20 prospects.

The class that signed today:
5-star Austin Goosby, CG, 6-5.5, Melissa (Texas) High
4-star++ Bo Ogden, G/W, 6-5.5, Austin (Texas) Westlake
4-star Joe Sterling, SG, 6-4, Studio City (Calif.) Harvard-Westlake
3-star+ Coleman Elkins, PF, 6-10, Austin (Texas) Blair Academy

The Ladies' team did even better, perhaps gaining the nation's top spot in the recruiting rankings. It will come down to the choice of wing Addison Bjorn (Riverdale, Mo./Park Hill South). She is supposed to announce at some point today. She would put Texas at #1.

Until then, Texas has the nation's 6th ranked class:
5-star Bri Crittendon, F, 6-3, Thornton (Co.) Riverdale Ridge - top 15 national
4-star++ Aaliah Spaight, 5-7, PG, Las Vegas (Nv.) Bishop Gorman - top 25 national
4-star+ Amalia Holguin, 5-9, SG, Newport Coast (Calif.) Sage Hill

Texas loses by 1 due to Mark falling down while trying to take the last shot. We were up by 10 at one point in the second half but couldn't hold the lead.

We had our chances to win but didn't. The officiating was horrible, especially the black ref with hair. Several questionable calls and fouls he had a part in. Hopefully we never see this crew again.
