My point is that aggy cares more about knocking us out of the SEC championship than they care about playing in it themselves. We want to win the SEC and beating them is necessary to achieve that goal.

In my opinion our game on November 30th is the most important game we have played in the last 5 years. It should put us in the SEC championship, would guarantee us a spot in the playoffs, it will keep our recruiting momentum high, and prove we are THE University of Texas. Not only the SEC tiebreakers but there is some concern that if we end up with 2 losses, we could fall behind the other 10-2 teams in the SEC and be left out of the playoffs. I am not sure I buy that argument but it is possible.

I would think being blasted with enough sound , could cause problems. Ear protection could help, but then audible signals would be more difficult.

Again, my thinking is , if allowed this would create an arms race that is detrimental to the athletes and the sport.
