Re Waxahachie safety Jayquan Snell. I want this kid in our class. I don't know if he's 2026 or 2027, but I want him in burnt orange. See the clip and how he stops Duncanville's RB cold.

You and every other team in the country want him. lol Borderline 5 * in the 2027 class. We have already offered.

I wonder how many phone calls are being made to Penn St players right now? I know there is an OL that should be of interest. Anthony Donkoh 6-5 323 RT/IOL. Two years of eligibility left.
Not sure where he ends up, but he is probably reenacting the scene from Jerry Maguire, "Show me the money!"

Definitely need to hit the portal for a RT and RG. Need the competition. I like Brooks at LG and think he and Goosby can fit well together. Both are just so big and strong. Would love to go back after Malakai Lee at T. Have him and Turntine waiting in the wings to develop. I'm still shocked at the lack of playing time for D. Cruz. I thought he was the next big thing at C.

From Jerry:

"The Texas Longhorns extended an offer to 4-star UCLA offensive tackle commit Micah Smith (Vero Beach, Fla./High) Sunday.

The 6-foot-5.25, 320-pound current UCLA verbal has seen his stock rise as a senior."

Texas is working on hosting him for a visit.

I think Brooks may be the heir apparent to Goosby at LT. I've seen Goosby projected to go as high as #9 in mock drafts. If he's anywhere close to that, he will likely go to the NFL.

This has probably been discussed.... but do we have a shot at Jason Witten's kid? LB from the Dallas / Ft Worth area I believe....

With how our line is playing this year, I'm wondering how in the world is Goosby is projected to go in the 1st round. Maybe this is what happened with Cam Williams from last year.

Looks like he is 2027 class. Highly touted LB I’m sure Texas will give it hell

Agreed. This was one projection I saw early in the year. I imagine he will be back next year at this point.

Per Gerry Hamilton

"Texas cornerbacks coach Mark Orphey extended an offer to senior riser cornerback Toray Davis (Boulder, Co./Fairview) Monday.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pounder was committed to UCLA until the firing of Deshaun Foster. Since de-committing September 22, Davis has picked up offers from Wisconsin, Arizona State, Indiana, Iowa and now Texas.

Davis made an official visit October 11 to Wisconsin. "
