2026 Recruiting Board/Thread

From a poster on another board re 5-staar RB Derrick Cooper

One site says "He also lights the track on fire as well running 10.88 in the 100m, 22.21 in the 200m and has leapt a personal best 22-foot-7 long jump."

247 didn't give times in the article I saw but noted "State qualifier as a sophomore in the 100-meter dash, 200-meter dash and long jump." Dunno what "state qualifier" implies but guessing it's fast in Florida, especially for a 210 lb running back.

Interesting. Perhaps to make a reasonable comparison is to see how much NIL money is floated. Then again, color me cynical, but how many crypto coins, gift cards, etc. are used to pay athletes under the table...cough, cough, Fed Ex envelopes from Reveille.

PS - I find it amusing when posters, who want a particular player, suggests their school should back up a Brinks truck or blame another school doing that when a player goes elsewhere. What more amusing, it is never that poster's money.

Lott was rumored to be visiting this past week

He did, but not for the game. He met privately with Sark and staff, along wiith his family. OTF says that things have progressed and that now Texas has a 50-50 shot at a flip.

Receiver Jalen Lott and defensive end Dre Quinn are two flip candidates that are real possibilities, per Burton.
