From my understanding Texas bringing Atkinson in for the OV kind of set Griffin to look elsewhere

Honestly, we don't need to get a RB this cycle. That room is stacked.

Florida is going to try their best to make the Geurvil commitment interesting. They've had some big missed at DL and have the bigger need compared to Texas. That may end up meaning bigger NIL. Texas still favored but it needs to be monitored over the next two days.

RB Derrek Cooper is no longer committing July 12th. He has pushed this back and has said he wants to visit Texas during the season. Big news to be squarely back in this one.

No longer communicating with Texas staff per OTF.

Florida has the bigger need at DT and has missed out on other opportunities to spend their money (like 5 star Trenton Henderson who they are missing out on). They are reallocating funds to Guervil in a way that Texas doesn't want or need to.
