Pay likely a factor that favors the horns. Choice gets paid 750k by Texas. Position coaches in the pros around 500k.

Obviously, either Salary is more than enough money, especially for a former NFL pro. He seems to like the young kids and recruiting but he just had a kid himself. The change in lifestyle could be appealing with the NFL job.

I would choose the stability of working for UT vs Jerry Jones.

I was curious, he made 3.5 million over a 6 year career. His biggest paying year was just over 800k. So he has actually been getting better money coaching at Texas than playing ball.

I am willing to bet him flirting with the Cowboys will earn him a raise here. I feel like he's earned it.

He certainly could. Give him a year in our S&C and he'll be ready, size-wise. Do you know if he's a LT or a RT? Probably doesn't matter at this point.
