I can't say for sure, but youth and money, NIL money that is, without proper guidance is going to cause situations like this. I just hope the kid figures it out soon. And I hope schools provide some guidance with this new found wealth some of these kids get.

Youth, money and he somehow seems to have gone off the rails.
I don't know any specifics, but would guess Sark(and other schools) understands the risks and have plans to try to keep these athletes grounded and staying focused on what matters for their success.
It a real shame, hopefully Jontay can get his life back together, both on and off the football field.
Exactly right. I think Sark & co have figured a way to keep players/recruits focused on long-term goals (development/NFL) over the short-term of maximizing NIL gains. It’s an even easier story when you have 11 players drafted last year and probably 14 drafted this year. It seems like they have no problem passing on anyone who’s only looking at NIL - regardless on how good they are.

The portal is closed as of last night. There are 48 business hours allowed for names to populate in the portal so it is possible we hear more names up until Tuesday though most will announce that unofficially on social media, etc.
Players can pick a school at any point in time with the biggest limiting factor being getting enrolled for summer at their new school.
There will be a grad transfer period once semesters end and school is out.

I hear Mitchell's weight is even worse than when he was here. Cajuns put butter on everything and now Bo iisn't around to control it. lol
I was thinking Javion Cole was going to see PT next year. Hated to lose him.
Agbo is good, but got recruited over here.

Only thing I can think of, but why would he choose Texas? Why not go to a school where you can get a lot more PT? Unless he absolutely wants to learn for a year from Sark and Milwee.
