I never get left behind for the burnt orange kool aid.
A few quick practice notes from OTF...
- TE Amari Niblack continues to move up in the rotation, as expected
- it has been mentioned again that DT Alex January is ahead of DT Sydir Mitchell when playing over the ball
- OL Neto Umeozulu worked first team LG for the second straight practice
- OL Hayden Conner worked at C again today, but they didn't specify if that was first or second team

That means he not only passed Mitchell but Bryant and Swanson. Man Bo Davis was a lousy recruiter. 4 years in and he got us 2 DTs (Bledsoe and January) who are likely to ever contribute here. Guess we'll see about Hills.
If January is ready to contribute then we've got a solid 4-5 man rotation, but will be in bad shape in 2025 once Broughton, Collins, and Saveia move on. Hopefully we can hit the portal this Spring for a DT with >1 year left. And dear lord let Baker be a better recruiter and actually score us some DTs whose tape shows more than a few flashes and a lot of plays off.
Baker's got four of our top DT prospects lined up for visits. Lets see how he closes.
Bobby Burton said this morning that Mitchell was moving well at yesterday's practice. Gerry said to expect some attrition at the edge position particularly Tapp and Finkley. That room is packed.
