To this point, it certainly seems that the hype of the SEC move isn't having the recruiting impact most thought it would. 

I also realize that it's only July, and the 2023 class at this time last year looked very different from where we finished. So don't take this as an overreaction because it isn't. Just a little disappointed with where we sit currently, but fully expect things to come together by seasons end (hopefully, lol).

Stacking elite talent year after year is the key to building a championship team.  It is essential that each recruit fit the culture of the program and is not taken strickly because of talent.  Elite blue chips with elite character are the types on young men you want at your program.  

I do know what the number of 5 stars is that we have recruited over the years but this year we have yet to land one.  Doesn't mean we want but while other teams have already secured some 5 stars it does make me a little uneasy that we have yet to get a commitment from one.   

Guess that patience is what is needed and then when recruiting is done for this year we will see where things land.  I would just rather have the elite guys in the boat right now as opposed to waiting for it to happen on NSD.
