Recruiting is a crazy business, but both parties can do whatever they want until paper meets pen. If Texas has better options, why not pursue them? Seems like that's what Wilson did and if he's now having 2nd thoughts then that's on him. Big time football, big time decisions. He'll land is a good place regardless.

Right now for Texas.. it's like revenge tour. I will never forget the rant coach Davis made. That was like a wakeup call

This is a good point.

However, you seemed to have missed the fact that we can inflict damage on a bitter enemy by removing him from their class and putting him in ours. That's tasty right there.

Wilson, I could see them circle back to him at some point. Vasek never committed to us and thus really didn't reject us. Wilson rejected us, so I could imagine there would be some hesitancy on staff's part. Besides, they may just be respecting the kid's wishes and leaving him alone.

IT said the coaches have moved on from Wilson and there is about zero chance they recruit him further.
