Bijan had a good game.  I don't see this game hurting him.  

Me either. But they limited him in game 1 because they didn't want him hurt before this stretch. That game was well in hand without more carries from him.

They did but at the end of the call they got it right with no targeting and no roughing the passer.

My emotions are all over the place. Before the game, I would have taken a 1 score loss. Now I'm trying to figure out how we didn't win.  This team showed me today that they should have the opportunity to win every game. Big 12 championship game is now the floor for me. Proud of the effort from the team and proud of the fans. Today should be the norm going forward. I'm going to finish this bottle of tequila and pass the hell out.  Here's to a quick recovery from injury for all. Good night and Hook 'em!!

For what it's worth, Will Anderson also shot a big hole in his Heisman today. He was not special.

Yea I don't think much about that.  When you drop back to pass 5-6 defenders start back pedaling opening up running lanes.  You get past the first level and there's a lot of running room.  Bijan doesn't have that happen when they hand him the ball.  

Handing off the ball with everyone keying on you is going to be a lot harder to get yards.  He broke a decent amount of tackles, made people miss, only had to go 1 yard for the TD, caught a great pass and showed great balance having to turn around to catch it, etc.  To me he did enough to stay in the Heisman race and still be considered as a front runner

I guess if Ewers comes back, based on your rationale, we should put Card in at RB.  I'm sure he'd be getting 5+ yards a carry when the 'Bama defense is keying in on him.....
