This is the best I’ve seen our defense look in a long time. We’re making progress. Just kills us to have Ewers go down and then Card turn his ankle. Very proud of the effort.

Can’t help but once again think what coulda been. Im suppose to be excited as we went toe to toe with the giant and showed heart. Im certain the recruits at the game saw the trajectory of this program under sark. But F@#K… 2 injured QBs… one being our QB1 that was going to have a huge day. Just insane. Love being a horn fan- doesn’t look like the same team as a year ago. This guys have heart

A lot of ifs in this game, but proud of the effort. If they play like this all year, we win the big 12. Injuries, bad calls and all, I'm very happy with what I saw today. Let's hope Quinn recovers quickly.

Im gonna guess, separated shoulder or collar bone injury....lets hope Card's ankle doesnt swell...

I'm proud of the effort we had, across the board. I said before the game, one of the keys would be coming out with no injuries. I hope the Ewers prognosis is minor.

Nobody on this board predicted this game. The line was what? 25 pts? We almost pulled it off.

Regardless, I think its safe to say we no longer suck.

And no major infractions on our work in progress offensive line.

My first thoughts on this game are – 1) What if Ewers doesn't get hurt? 2) Where were the refs from? Anyone know? 

If Texas gets a safety, we win. If we grab the errant pass, we win bigger. Lots of ifs and buts in this one.

The phantom running game is baffling. Bama had the same problem until the QB started running. 

Hoping it's just a Bama thing, but we sucked at running. Heisman over.

I'm convinced we have the talent to compete. I'm not convinced we have the coach.

Luckily Sark is the one who acquired most of that talent, and today was a massive recruiting win from where I sit.

You're a piece of work. I thought Bijan did about as well as any back could against that defense. Two of those guys are ready for the NFL right now.

You can't blame the running game on Card, they sucked with Quinn too. Bama can stop anybody's run. Hell without Card's runs, you could subtract about 40 yards. We showed some improvement with Roshon in Q4. Maybe Bijan was double teamed? Whatever it was, our star player wasn't there when we needed him, and Bama's was.

Obviously would have preferred a win, but this is a great result for the program moving forward. 

The team and the crowd showed the recruits almost everything we could have hoped for.
