I have a sneaking suspicion that more runs are needed from Texas.  I don't feel overly comfortable with a 3-run lead against this Tennessee team.

That play at home where Hodo scored was huge. The ball was there in plenty of time but Hodo had a great slide and to be honest, the Vol catcher was lazy on the tag. If not Texas only scores 1 in the 4th but went on to total 3 runs to take a 7-4 lead. 

That, the Kennedy HR and the DP by Texas with the bases loaded and no outs were the plays of the game.

Kennedy has bounced back nicely this postseason. He really struggled in parts of the season but earned his keep the last month!

Tanner Witt was clutch! He’s going to look real good on Friday nights next spring!

Saving Nixon and Quintanilla for Thursday is big as well! Pitching proving to be the real deal like all season!
