Case could be made that he launched and the whole defenseless player thing. I've seen less called targeting so I'm glad they didn't but there was certainly enough according to how the rule is written.How? He turned his back and didn't make contact to his head and neck?
Yeah, I guess I just hate how the rule is written. When a player is launching at the same time a slide is occurring (and makes every attempt to avoid making contact with the head), I don't understand how a penalty can be called.Case could be made that he launched and the whole defenseless player thing.
