With the bi polar personality of this team, all 3 of these could well be losses. The only semi confident game would be against KU. But we had difficulty beating the mighty jayhawks last year. So theres that.

I can't remember if I've posted this here or not but here's some "food for thought".

If Texas finishes 8-2 and wins the Big 12 Championship game, it will be the best regular season record and best season overall since 2009 and Tom would also own the 2 best seasons since then. And it will also be the 3rd best season in the last 15 years. Or since we won the national championship.

Herman's coaching reputation has been tarnished by inexplicable losses. Other schools are using this effectively as fuel to negatively recruit Texas. In my opinion he is damaged goods. Our recruiting has been set back tremendously.

I haven’t read or heard TFB update other than it wasn’t good but they later cane out and said Urban is still on table. Who knows but from the little I saw they said no matter what happened Herman was back but I have hard time believing that personally. IT was more pessimistic update than it had been, talking about money and the bad “optics” of paying urban the kind of money he wants given the financial state the university is in. Someone else can possibly summarize better than me on those.

I guess IMO if you want a change, idk if you want to phrase it as rooting against Texas but you better hope against making the big 12 title game.
