It appears that the narrative for many is that Strong "DESERVES" a 4th year and that he is bigger than the good of the University. Well for those who believe this here is you new fight song..

Charlie fight, Charlie fight
And it's goodbye to A&M.
Charlie Fight, Charlie Fight,
And we'll put over one more win.
Charlie Fight, Charlie Fight,
For it's Charlie that we love best.
Give 'em hell, give 'em hell,
Go, Charlie, Go!
Yea Charlie! Yea Strong!
Yea Charlie Strong! Fight! Fight! Fight!
Charlie Fight, Charlie Fight,
Yea Charlie Fight!
Charlie Fight! Charlie Fight!
Yea Charlie Fight

I liked your post because it combined ruthlessness and sarcasm. A very rare tone.

The second verse.....same as the first.

Third verse is looking more like the first and second.....maybe worse.

So, in his third year at Washington, here's Chris Peterson.

Colin Cowherd pointed out it's one of the youngest, if not the youngest, rosters around.

They rolled Stanford and toyed with their last opponent.

Been a while but as i recall, Royal got rolled by Ole Miss in a Sugar Bowl after his first or second season. Score was something like 33-7 which was big back then. He vowed never to let that happen again.

Take some time and go back through the season's games over a spread of many years starting right around the 1960 season with Royal. Look at the opponents scores. Different time, yes. Players played both sides of the ball, and freshmen did not play, for those earlier years.

But it was a more controlled game. You did not let the game just go all to hell around you. Maybe some of that is still in our football memory genes and having a hard time adjusting to the college game becoming a AA Texas high school game.

Their latest depth chart shows 6 seniors, 8 juniors, 4 RS sophomores, and 4 sophomores as starters.

Next on the 2 deep are 2 seniors, 5 juniors, 7 RS sophomores, 3 sophomores, 4 RS freshmen, and 1 freshman.

You don't tell an AD to F off. No class.
Well to be accurate they told the Pres to tell the boosters to back the f*** off but hey, we're creatures of the 20th century. There are apparently new rules when it comes to things like class, loyalty and honor. /sarc

I was having the same conversation with one of my buddies. Saying Washington is young is misleading when you look at their starters. To get more specific, their starting defense is 3 seniors, 5 juniors, and 3 RS sophmores.

I heard someone make the same argument about Ohio State (maybe it was Cowherd). Their starting defense is 3 juniors, 4 RS juniors, 3 RS sophmores, and 1 RS freshman.

Not pointing this out as an excuse for Strong or to discount what Washington is doing. Just saying, Cowherd throws some misleading crap out there sometimes.

I forgot to mention.. Cowherd is from Washington. He went to one of the schools there. Wasn't WU, and I don't think Wash State. Maybe it was.

But yeah, I did not look up the data on that one.

The Cowboys are a great comparison. The guy who makes all the decisions knows zip about football and he is so freaking prideful he would rather let the team crumble instead of admitting he was wrong, knows nothing, and letting the football guys do their job I bet more than a few times people in that organization would have loved to tell him " back the f#%! off". The best thing going for the cowboys is Romo and Dez's constant health problems. If Garrett could catch a non life threatening illness that kept him from coaching there is no telling how much better they could be consistently in the long run.

Im already a cowboys fan and thats a circus in itself. I dont need another clown show
I'm taking the year off. The entire NFL is a clown show. And it bothers me that I really don't miss it. I used to love the NFL.
