Added Taylor (edit - appears this will be his OV)

There is supposed to be one or two more UOVs slipping into town as well (Kristian Fulton for one)
The total number of recruits should be close to 20 (including commits)

Not sure when we've ever had such a huge recruiting weekend

Jan 16

    RB Devwah Whaley (piggy commit)

OL Zach Shackelford (EE & KSU commit, both schools' classes begin Jan 19 so ihe flips, will be quick)
    DE Mark Jackson (aggy commit)
DT Chris Daniels (bringing the folks + a bro; ou commit but may also OV Bama & tOSU)

DT Stephon Taylor (bringing the folks)
LB Erick Fowler (listed as a LB since that appears to be what we are recruiting him at)
    LB Jeffrey McCulloch
CB Eric Cuffee  (UOV i think)
ATH Lil’Jordan Humphrey  (UT vs. Cal; now says he wants to play BBall too)
S Deontay Anderson (Ol Miss is the fav)
S Brandon Jones (sounds like UT vs. aggy or maybe Baylor)
    WR Davion Curtis
WR Reggie Hemphill (wanted to visit with his bud Deontay Anderson)
    OL Jean Delance
    OL Tope Imade
    OL Denzel Okafor
    DE Andrew Fitzgerald
    DE Malcolm Roach
DT Gerald Wilbon (UOV i think)
    CB Obi Eboh
    * Collin Johnson, Shane Buechele, Demarco Boyd should also be present this weekend

Of the current commits, Aucoin is only one who wont be present, he will visit with teammate Irv Smith (I think)

ags Perroni and Hammy have CBd DT Ross Blacklock to TCU (not aggy)

TCU is supposed to be taking only one DT

So if Blacklock does go froggy, should/could help us with Giles

After initially listing Taylor's visit as an UOV, 247 has now confirmed that Taylor's visit on the 15 will be an Official and that he's bringing his parents with him.  Apparently the trip he took to Austin in the fall was an unofficial.

Also - Hamm/6figs/5'6"figs also reported that TCU is going hard after J-Mad.  Apparently J-Mad and Blacklock are buddies.  Its possible J-Mad may be opening up his recruitment just a crack - if so, Texas needs to slide in there.

There have been rumors of a big name UOV to Austin

Maybe its JMad

Just a guess, I have no idea

Here is Nahlin's finish to get to a class size of 25 (currently 13) --

RB Kyle Porter
RB Devwah Whaley (true coin flip)
WR Lil'Jordan Humphrey (lock)
OL Zach Shackelford
TE Irvin Smith
DT Stephon Taylor
DT Chris Daniels
LB Erick Fowler
LB Jeffrey McCulloch
DB Eric Cuffee (lock)
DB Brandon Jones
DB Damarkus Acy

He adds that you make room for any of Patrick Hudson, Deandre Christmas-Giles or Jordan Elliott.

One other tidbit -- Longhorn recruits don't think DJax will make it

Is there any chance of us getting any commitments before that next visit weekend. I thought I read awhile back that someone (can't remember who) predicted that we would have 4 more before the upcoming visit weekend. We got Delance. Just wondering.

Eric Cuffee.  He wanted to announce at the game with Delance - but they 'ran out of spots'.  Cuffee is working with Bleacher Report to put out one of those announcement vids.  Supposed to be out around the end of the month.

FWIW - that class of 25 would have put our recruiting class 14th last season.

Not a bad finish. It looks like more are predicting the Jackson ship has sailed.

A top 15 class would be a huge success. I wonder what Strong could do with results and W's on the field?
