2015 Recruiting Season is in full swing

I agree with Mr. Garland but for Strongs first year at UT for 6-7 season ,alot of people felt it wouldve been worse than that..for 6-7 record its not that bad either

to answer your question there mr. grande i would have to soso, lodge, lewis, ummm probably that purdue te..he's pretty good we should pursue him...im still up in the air for Newsome or Reed  but im gonna put his name in there for the hell of it and might as well give Merrick the schollie

Either way this recruiting class will be as good as it's been in a while...... After a 6-7 season.

I can dig that.
On the surface, the value of this class will be in the top 10.

But I think, at the core, Strong's evaluation of our kids are immensely better than the recruiting sites.  And the evaluations AND DEVELOPMENT are way superior to the Ags, land thieves AND Auburn.

We have three coaching staffs, in the Big 12, that I believe are outstanding evaluators of talent - TCU, KSU and Baylor.  And I think Gary Patterson is the best in the nation - at evaluation and development..

I'm constantly amazed by the idiocy that is constantly on display at TexAgs. There faithful are claiming now that Boyd won't flip to A&M because Strong threatened to pull DeMarco's schollie offer if he did.

do any of you remember when Earl Campbell announced his committment and how he decided between OU and Texas?? anybody remember that?
I do. It was talked about not long ago in local (Austin) media, and I got the gist of it but can't remember the precise details.

My daughter and son-in-law are aggie vet school graduates.  They say they and the bulk of the TAMU fanbase, hold Texags in complete disdain.

She also says the aggy corps is still the prominent fraternity on campus and in the school culture.

In other words, like the state California, the inmates are still running the asylum.
