2015 Recruiting Season is in full swing

I'm not feeling too good about Kai so I'm going to go crawl into a dark room and watch all the Merrick and Heard video I can to get me excited about them again.
IMO Merrick's film looked kinda impressive...Hes not the most athletic person, but seems to play well within his abilities..like Colt

Does anybody else have opinions on Merrick?

He has been retweeting a bunch of FSU stuff since we left

My SWAG is that Mike G thought little brother was going to also announce today as did many .... but DeMarco has said before that he is doing things "separate" from his bro
My apologies to Mike G for being right about DeMarco and kudos for keeping it quiet and letting him make his own announcement !!

.... I thought DeMarco would be separate than Kris as I stated, but this is sooner than I expected  :D

Still trolling

The excitement for Heard should have been there the hole time.... I think Swoopes killed some the trust we had in our QB's.... So saddle up your horses guys and enjoy the ride....

I do not care if we recruit Helen Keller or Tiny Tim. My concern is whether Watson (as and *ahem* Wickline) can fashion an offense around the talent they have. My main complaint about Watson's offense last season is that it showed absolutely no creativity. Heard, Merrick or any QB; whoever runs the offense has to know how to play MacGuyver and work with what they have.

Personally, I have my concerns whether Texas has a strategist that can build an offense built around Merrick or Heard. I cant think of a single play last season that was creative or innovative.

I don't think the question is Heard or Merrick as much as it is Watson.

Kai Locksley - FYI  from last week:

Florida State quarterback commit Kai Locksley was slightly bothered after news broke that defensive ends coach Sal Sunseri was leaving the school for a job in the NFL.

In a conversation with the Tallahassee Democrat, Locksley said he "told" about Sunseri taking a job with the Oakland Raiders on "Tuesday unfortunately."

When asked if Sunseri's departure impacted his recruitment, Locksley did not respond but did take to his Twitter account to express himself.

In a response to a tweet from 2016 FSU defensive end commit Janarius Robinson, Locksley responded:

Sunseri and co-offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Randy Sanders have been Locksley's key recruiters.

Locksley, a dual-threat four-star prospect who wants to play quarterback but has shown flashes of tremendous play-making ability at wide receiver, is taking an official visit to Texas this weekend.

"Haven't taken an official anywhere but FSU," said Locksley, who was in Tallahassee for the Notre Dame game in October. "So it'll be good to have something to compare it to."

Texas quarterbacks coach Shawn Watson also had an in-home visit with Locksley on Thursday.

Well...I gotta say that I agree with you. For some reason im looking at what Watson did with Bridgewater as a sign of hope. But my hope could be blind hope
