2015 Recruiting Season is in full swing

The value Chavis brought to aggy was name and reputation only. He's not that great of a recruiter. Does not like intermingling with the team. In fact, it was part of his contract with LSU that he not have to do those things. He stayed in the press box, called plays, and left after the game.

It's why LSU didn't fight to keep him. It was a situation they learned they didn't like so much after all.
Not to mention he has only been there one month. It's taken our coaches one year to begin making relationships.

Delusional instant coffee ags. Instant coffee = not for closers.

The use of a citation just made me laugh.

Also, has there been anymore news re: McGuire's response? Time frame or deadline for a response?
Word is, Coach McGuire has until Friday to accept the open TE position.

He's torn because his son has two more years of HS left and he'd like to see that through. Wilkerson over at HD says he's lobbying for one of his key assistants to takeover as Cedar Hill's HC. If that happens, his son may finish his HS career there.

Somewhat of a high risk-reward. It's tough to move with kids in high school, but there are only so many opportunities at the next level (such as our "Tier 3" university) and Austin. Not to mention that type of coaching salary.

Already openly wondered where in Austin the QB would end up if he were to take the position. Think he will stay. I heard a lot of negative about his leadership skills and the fact he does not cuss out his players all the time. You do not have the success he has had without doing something right. No way. Not in DFW.
