Not sure if posted but Perroni at Gigem247 said that there's a lot of buzz in East Texas for Mack to Texas.

SignUp Now!Vahe has been a long time commit and has never shown or said anything to make you think he is or might waiver. He is not going anywhere but "Austin Texas baby"!
The only regret he had was not having said it prior to when he actually told them.Aggies are going for each other's throats on the 247 board in the Boyd thread. So glad HS is such a civil community to discuss football in.
Also, Hamm claims that Boyd already told the Texas coaches that he's going to commit but regretted saying it after meeting with Aggie. If I had a nickel for how many times A&M Fans and A&M Recruiting Analysts have claimed that Texas is getting recruits out of unusual situations, parenting pressure and pre-mature promises, I'd be able to purchase whatever is left of Kyle Field.

sorry, misread the OP.the idea was our coaches went to see Tipa
But he sed no
Hearing some rumbling about LSU now being a threat at landing Holton Hill, hopefully strong can close the deal tonight.
There was one guy who flipped his CB
He makes alot of predictions every year, seem to scattershot around
Also, LSU did have an in-home
And in the past, Hill has favorably mentioned them
IMO, LSU is our main compt for Hill
Still, I am willing to bet he and Boyd (both of them) announce for Texas
edit
he seems to agree
Hill is key for us IMO, we have to land him

I don't think making a blanket statement about true freshman QB is the correct approach. Just like saying that you should never start a rookie QB in the NFL. The fact of the matter is there are some that are ready when they step on campus. However, they are rare and mostly from college sized high schools, so in the vast majority of cases you are correct. And I disagree with this. No way a true freshman should start, I don't care how good he is. It's not fair to him and not fair to the team. And don't even talk about Heard and Swoopes.![]()
