2015 Recruiting Season is in full swing

I checked macks twitter and it doesn't look like he posted those. Should that be a concern
One idea is that he's trying not to set off a fire storm. Seeing what's going on at TexAgs I'd say professional counseling should be set up to handle the tin foil hat conditions. From now to Feb 4th less said, photographed, published...the better. Let fans do it, but maybe the recruits are laying low and waiting it out.

Hard to imagine that in recruiting wars we'd have to really be concerned over one fan base just loosing it. The story of this NSD might be the bizarre behavior cropping up on that board. It used to be a joke (those little maroon printed booklets a long time ago) all very quaint and "good bull," but now it's gone sideways on them -- power of the internet and social media too much for their psyches. I'm holding my breath for 6 more days.

Juan - I don't know anything at all about this guy Higdon.  LOL!  But that last sentence is the biggest cop out I have seen, yet.

He is an equivocator.  And an intentionally poor writer (or at least I hope it is intentional)

My feeling is that he is trying to provide squirm room for himself.  So, he can later say, "That is not what I said," or "I never made that call."

At the same time, despite all of that^ he does have a pretty high rate of getting it correct when he does say something firm.  For example, he had Malik to us when others did not.  I think he had Strong too before others.  In addition, he is the one who knew we had a shot at Murray and hinted about it before anyone else -- going pretty far back.   So, it's a mixed bag.

Here is some more, make of it what you will

Asked about Hill and Boyd --"trust me they know where they're going this is not a tough decision and when they end up going wherever they're going to go and they get turned over to the strength coach lookout the games they played on the recruiting trail do not go unnoticed"

Lol. It's 50/50 whether Murray goes to Texas and 50/50 whether he goes to aggy. And 50/50 for Oregon.

Two things:

1.  I agree with you

2.  I want that '57 Chevy

I was listening to Jeremy Crabtree on a podcast and he said if Kyler Murray flips to UT, it will be the biggest recruiting moment in the state of Texas in the last twenty years. Bigger than Adrian Peterson going to OU and Vince Young to Texas. Murray to Texas could have a pied piper effect on other recruits.

He also said that recruits, former players, and HS coaches have all told him that Charlie Strong is great in a one on one talking football.

For some reason I can't see any of Juan Grande's tweets in his posts. Even when I click on the "link," I get a Twitter page saying, "Sorry, this page does not exist."

Help?

Tweet might have been deleted by original poster on Twitter. In this case, I think the original tweet in the link was from Boyd...so he might have deleted it from his twitter.

I don't think the lack of an OV will have any outcome on a flip by KM. They had a condensed version already and Charlie has the last in home. You can almost see it coming out now as a positive. If we truly were paying players do you think they would have made this public?
