2015 Recruiting Season is in full swing

I have no idea if there really is a contingent of 8 (now 7) players who have all but committed to Texas.  But if there is, and they are all capable of keeping quiet until each commits - Bravo to them.

Seriously, if these guys can orchestrate this whole thing to their liking - then more power to them.

you wanna know whats funny? is that i talked to my cousin the night before the gilmer/gladewater game in longview which to me im amazed as how packed it was but nevertheless..i told him that gladewater facing gilmer will be there biggest and best test ever and i told him its gonnna come down to a big play...and gilmer will win it by 5 or 6 pts but gilmier is gonna get there butts tested like it was nobodys business..he bet me a big bottle of whiskey...lol til this day he was not happy with me making that prediction lol soooooo i gotta meet up  with him when i move back in july lol

I've read/heard that the whole group here this past weekend truly bonded and had a great time.

I'm wondering if it's..."If you're in, I'm in"... "If you, you and you go...then I'm all in"...  "Ok, you're on!!"

Any chance all of this changes Ryan Newsomes mind about still going to UCLA? Seems the kid was pretty torn making his choice. If so, do we have a spot for him or has that train left the station? Regardless Burt > Newsome.

I am honestly relieved newsome didn't pick us. Great kid but there are better recruits for what we need. I really hope the jucco WR Reed joins us.

that was soo painful for me to watch his committment announcement like that..i felt for him

I am living here in Florida and can tell you that the high school football program that John Burt is from (Lincoln) Is a Florida powerhouse. Every year they are in contention for a state championship. I am really happy we are working on building a pipeline to that high school and the Miami area. The only other area that I would love to see get built is what we call "the muck". Glades central and pahokee, it's rediculous how much NFL talent has come from there.
