2015 Recruiting Season is in full swing

I would be surprised if Boyd was playing anywhere outside of Austin next year. I'm of the opinion that Boyd is simply a master troll for the ages.

i was just checking the recent CBs and still showing boyd to texas but i dont really read into them to be honest

Change the offense ? Change the offense ? Per Watson it took Heard and the others all Spring and all season to figure out what we had, and now we are bringing in something new ? We have too many OCs and a head coach who apparently is as wishy-washy as Mack was about offense. Decide what the heck you want to do, recruit to it, and put a winner on the field. It isn't that hard. Bama, FSU, tOSU, Oregon, and others do it at every level of college football. Sheesh, it ain't rocket science. Why do Texas coaches ned to talk to another staff ?  Go hire assistants and OC/DC  that know what the hell they are doing. We are paying them millions. They should know what to do. If they don't, then fire them and go hire the guy who does know. We are Texas !!!!!!!

now me as a gilmerite myself im not friends of the boyds but i feel imo every since gilmer won state...and just by his personality i think he just trying to have fun honestly...now key word is trying

The QB. Always the QB.

That said - I'm really hoping that Murray was giving this next group a chance to take their visits (Mack & Soso) before announcing his intentions. If this drags out longer than Thursday's in home with Sumlin - I can't see it still happening.
Actually given the state of the relationship between Kevin Murray and Sumlin a fist fight in the living room is a very real possibility.

Oh for Christ's sake - every coaching staff talks to other coaching staff. Urban Meyer didn't becone the coach he is today by locking himself in a room and ignoring all others. I'd be more pissed if our coaches weren't reaching out to colleagues.

That would not end well for Sumlin.

Speaking of the Murrays.  Kyler appears to be very intense and very focused.  Great qualities in a competitor.

Hook 'em!

Hipho-There is a very handy 'ignore' feature in preferences.  It works quite well unless someone quotes the ignored poster.   ;)

Yes, thats true for young up and coming coaches. But we have old guys who should know WTF they are doing. If not we need to fire them and go hire the guys who know the offense/defense we want to use.

Not to bring up an old topic but I can't help. I just went back and saw jerrod heards highlight tape and can't help but be angry we didn't make an attempt to give him an offense that he will thrive in already. The kid is a playmaker, go back and watch it again. I am going to be happy when we get Murray but I honestly can't say I think he is much better than heard which means we will have an awesome qb compition.

The biggest reason I want Murray tho is because we will probably land Mack, Soso, lodge, Boyd, and hill if we get him.

The game is always evolving..Every year coaches are tweaking their current offenses/defenses to remain a step ahead. In this case they are picking Urban's brain about his theology and figuring out a way imply some of that theology to what we currently have..Dedicated Coaches do this every off_season. Very happy to hear that Urban is sharing his knowledge.

Here's our recruiting tactic for Soso.

GBT is trying to make a connection that we are saying Mack is a big primate like Bigfoot, instead aggy can't make the logical connection that we never thought we would see Mack on campus in burnt orange.
GBT is an aggroid, huh?

That makes sense based on a few of his posts. Nice try, kid. Blocked

You have had multiple calm, reasonable, respectful replies to your posts. Unfortunately I am not capable of that.

You're a prick.

Do not know if GBT is aggy, but his post at times scream aggy. If not then GBT my apologies.
