I like mess around a bit with the class calculator on the 247 site - adding and removing players just to see how it effects the class numbers and rankings. I can't bring myself to add the players being talked about these last couple of days. There's just no way it happens this late in the game.

Props to Strong and staff for putting it all out there. Regardless of how this turns out. But it's a very real possibility in two weeks that the only QB in this class is Merrick. Yikes.

I got curious as well, so if they close with these and don't lose Gentry, they end up at #2 overall with a score of 298.  If they lose Gentry but get Kai, they still end up at 297.  Lose Warren/Gentry and add Brossette/Kai and you end up at 294 which is still at #2, ahead of FSU by a few points.  Of course this assumes they don't get any late adds/decommits themselves.

Juan, Wheeler has to be the oldest looking 17 year old I have ever seen.  That's your first guy off the bus IMO.

Damn, just thinking about Malik / Cherry  / Wheeler  across the middle in the 3-3-5 over the next few years is downright scary for the B12.  Those three are going to make some kids question whether football is really for them after they get hit a few times.

Sure did J.B.  I remembered that he was headed to JuCo.  Even if we strike out on Kai, lose Gentry and just pull in Kyler and Merrick, we are still in the mid-290's and have an open scholly to try and back fill with OL/DL or that last WR that wants in like Reed.
