2015 Recruiting Season is in full swing

I agree calling something 50-50 means you dont have any idea what is going to happen

I think most people understand this

However, it is a marked difference from his and most everyone's position just 24 hours ago

So, in this case, calling something 50-50 is saying something.  It's saying there has been a dramatic change of circumstances and no one knows how it will end now
Yes, it is saying a lot.

It is saying that no matter what happens, Higdon can say he was right. And then everyone else can say, see, Higdon was right again.

Hell, I can do that. Irvin is still coming to Texas. Unless he doesn't. I'm right again.

In this case, "knowing" is knowing the mind of a teenager -- the eventual decision to be made by teenager.

Not just a decision but a very big, life-changing decision involving lots of emotion.

How is anyone supposed to really know what that decision will be when the teen himself doesnt even know?

Accordingly, how much fault can be assigned when the teenager changes his mind?

I also think when things turn bad, as they have today with Mack and may with Irvin, people tend to look for scapegoats to direct their frustration and anger.  Looks like Higdon's turn

I don't think it says anything at all. All Hig did was position himself to a safe place. Now, no matter what, he's in a good spot.

And I call BS.

No way you flip a commit during the dead period. I know it's the SEC, but Charlie's fighting this one and I don't think he's going to like having a hand tied behind his back, IF Auburn was so bold as to allow this with a coach who was just hired (and never worked for Malzahn before) at a school not far removed from NCAA probation, then Malzahn has testicles made of pig iron.

The key to being a good member is knowing when to chuckle.

I love this line from Scipio Tex about Mack dropping Texas and visiting Auburn:

Whenever Auburn is introduced late into a recruitment after never played a substantial role in it up to that point, it's... interesting. Ha ha. Oh man.

How is he supposed to know what Irvin is going to do when Irvin does not know what Irvin is going to do?

Neither do Strong or Bedford?

Neither do Malzahn, Muschamp or TRob.

Neither do you or I.

Ive seen some of those suggestions too.

I made one myself about Burt's dad a week ago, then somewhat regretted it.

Because of that, I havent been dropping those tweets in here today about these latest two.

I will say this, I have never seen anything negative about TRob in that light -- rather he is just a guy that the SoFla kids like and respond to.

Do any of you have or know of anything anything on TRob specifically?

Arkansas with a huge pickup in Jalen Merrick. I really love what Bielema is doing in recruiting. Building from the inside out.

I did enjoy Mack's reason for dropping Texas, he thought he would be able to play alongside Malcolm Brown for a year. It was a dumb reason and it didn't make any sense, but it was creative.

It's a shame Mack is not a member Horn Sports, we would have know Malcolm Brown was going pro a month ago.

Who is Jalen Merrick? If he is some huge lineman with lots of upside, then you are right to love what Bielema is doing in recruiting. The best teams will have really good linemen on both sides of the ball.

Hey look, some more good news

I strongly suspect that Daylon Mack is going for the spotlight and not the success. He probably wants to go to a school where he would not have to work on academics.

If that is the case, we are well rid of him.

I really hope that Tim Irvin sticks, but if he doesn't, we will be fine.

Who's to say Irvin doesn't know what Irvin's going to do? Hig? Way to corner yourself into something there, I guess.

The kid has said what he's going to do. How so many changed that is amazing to me.

Sure makes for a bunch of clicks and hits, though.

Paul says this is on Instgram

Can anyone see that?  -- it would appear they (O'Korn & Winston) were both at Lakewood on Sunday

And that Jameis is still trolling us

(wonder if Mack Brown's phone is still ringing?)
