Thanks for that.  I could not remember who said it first.  I must admit that sounds like a good source.

And, even if it doesnt turn out to be, it could work out to our advantage if we handle it properly.
Yea, Suchomel posted that just in the last hour.

He also said that Burt's Father said that his son had problems with the inconsistencies of the Texas offense, whatever that means.

One small correction. He said he expected his son to commit to Auburn very soon and not in a few days.

No doubt CS and our defensive coaches can develop and produce great NFL caliber talent on the defensive side of the ball. We need the offense to show life otherwise, a few more years of mediocrity is gonna kill us recruiting offensive talent.

The last quote in the ESPN interview with Cecil Cherry

Might be stepping on some toes.  Probably unintentional.

Cherry: It's wonderful to me. Everybody might talk and say this and that, but Coach Strong didn't recruit those boys when he came in. Coach Strong has to get his talent in. It starts off with the Florida boys. If you want players, you're going to come down south to Polk County and all the way up. Everybody wants to play with dogs. Coach Strong recruits to win, pay bills and feed his family. Coach Mack Brown was there to recruit nice players. You've gotta look at Florida State. They've got all these Polk County, Florida, boys in there and they win a national championship because Jimbo [Fisher] recruited in Florida where the players are. Coach Strong knows where to get 'em to change the program around.

Where he's going to spend the next 3-4 years of his life.  Texas doesn't have a WR coach right now - you don't think thats going to play into his decision?  At the end of the day he might decide its not important, but he's got every right to take as much time as he wants and is allowed to.
I agree he has to make the best decision for himself but the problem is that if he waits until after the weekend of the 23rd or at worst NSD he won't have a seat on the bus..

We need some players who aren't afraid to step in and crack some skulls instead of worrying about the feelings  of some players in the locker room who are content with losing and mediocrity. How great would it be to have a team full of Quandre Diggs' and Cecil Cherry's

"Football games are won by angry people"

I can't remember what coach said that, but it resonates. Of course, T.J. Lambert of Semi Tough fame said, "Football games is won by dem horny ol' boys who wanna eat the crotch outta the end zone". That's just hilarious.
