Texas picked up another key piece of the 2025 class Saturday afternoon with the pledge of 4-star DL Justin Mbatchou.
Mbatchou was committed to Florida earlier in the cycle before opening up his recruitment in October. The Georgia native is in his first season playing football at powerhouse Grayson High School and is a teammate of 2025 Texas offensive line commit Nick Brooks. Mbatchou is the 229th-ranked player in the country, according to 247.
The Longhorns now have 24 commits in the 2025 class and are ranked in the top 5 of the recruiting rankings in all 4 major services.
